Erin's Mom and Dad
Prior to vision therapy, Makayla was struggling in school. She was falling behind and her teachers thought she possibly had a learning disability or attention deficit disorder. She appeared to be very smart, but struggled with consistency and the ability to grasp the material, despite her efforts. In search for answers to how she could be so smart but struggle so much in school, we had her evaluated by Dr. Habermehl. She as enrolled in vision therapy and at first, made little progress, struggling to get her eyes to work together. With much patience and determination to help her, the staff continued to come up with new activities to make vision therapy therapeutic and fun. After one year of therapy she is excelling in school and enjoys reading and writing. Her teacher continues to see growth and confidence in her every day. We are grateful to Dr. Habermehl and staff for their hard work and dedication to our daughter.
Thank you so much, Mary, David & Makayla (age 7)
